The Ukrainian capital Kiev was hit again by a large-scale Russian missile attack early this morning, hitting several buildings, local authorities said.
"A massive attack on the capital is still ongoing," Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on the Telegram platform.
He said buildings on both sides of the Dnieper River were hit. There were no immediate reports of casualties, but emergency medical teams were sent to the scene.

Timur Tkachenko, head of Kiev's military administration, confirmed that at least one strike had been recorded in the eastern suburbs, while witnesses told Reuters of powerful explosions echoing across the city, Hina reports.
The southeastern city of Dnipro was also hit, regional governor Oleksandr Ganya said. He said several private homes and cars were damaged, but there were no immediate reports of casualties. Air strikes remained in effect in Kiev and Dnipro well after midnight.
