Burim Meta, former advisor to Vjosa Osmani, on the "Info Nata" show on Tëvë1, spoke about the previous political relations between Osmani and Albin Kurti.
Meta stated that, according to him, Kurti had supported Osmani for the post of president, but later changed his position, describing this as "betrayal".
"I want to mention some conversations that Albin Kurti had with Vjosa Osmani, which you do not know. Until the last moments, Albin Kurti said that he has 57 MPs and that he can achieve this at any moment. He said these words until two or three days before the latest developments," Meta declared.
He added that, according to his claims, Kurti had excluded every other candidate for president.
"He has said that there is no other candidate for the Republic of Kosovo, he does not support any other candidate and he will not allow any other president except Vjosa Osmani. This is the betrayal that has occurred, as until the last moments he had declared that she is the only and best for this position," Meta said.
Meta emphasized that the change in attitude, according to him, occurred at the moment when Osman's role and influence on the political scene began to grow.
