Former LDK leader and former Prime Minister, Isa Mustafa, when asked if we can have a solution to the President's issue or if the country is heading towards new elections again, he said that it is difficult to give an answer because the process is not transparent.
According to Mustafa, both the opposition and the opposition are not clear with public opinion about the negotiations that have taken place.
"It is difficult to give an answer, because the process is not transparent, whether from the position or the opposition," Mustafa told Blic.
Negotiations for the new president are expected to continue next week. Kurti has so far met Lumir Abdixhiku, however, they have not shared details from the negotiations. Abdixhiku spoke on this topic today, reiterating that they are against VV taking the three positions, while denying that he could run for president himself.
Meanwhile, PDK has requested an official invitation from Albin Kurti for a meeting.
The deadline for electing a president is April 27. If the Assembly fails to elect a new head of state, the country automatically goes to new elections.
