The government, the Minister of Economy, and the so-called "independent" candidate of the VMRO-VLEN coalition for Struga have committed the greatest abuse and fraud for which they must answer before the law and the justice system.
By misusing citizens' taxes and the state budget, the Minister of Economy, Besar Durmishi, has taken their candidate, Mendi Qyra, with him in the promotion of the Government's measures for youth employment. Initially, this represents a serious misuse of the state and public money to put them at the service of the premature campaign for the ruling VMRO-VLEN candidate for Struga. We publicly ask Minister Durmishi and the Government what was the role of Qyra in this promotion that should be a pure activity of the Ministry, if not his promotion by misusing the state and the state budget, when it is now known that the person has announced his candidacy for the local elections in the very city where the promotion was held. Mendi Qyra himself has misused the Chamber of Commerce of Northwestern Macedonia, from which we demand that they distance themselves from this action and immediately dismiss him from the position he currently holds, since the CECM belongs to all businessmen, all citizens and should be politically impartial.
In all this misuse, a great deception is being made of the citizens of Struga. Durmishi and Qyra go to this city and talk about the total amount that will be distributed throughout the country, manipulating as if that amount will be distributed only in Struga. We all know that from the experience so far, the VMRO-VLEN Government in every investment, employment or other form, has treated Albanians with only 5-10% and it is known that even from this measure, Albanians from all municipalities of the country will receive the same amount. So calculate how much they will allocate for Albanians in Struga!?
We invite the State Commission for the Prevention of Corruption to process this scandalous misuse, the Public Prosecutor's Office to initiate investigations ex officio, and the Deputy Prime Minister for "good governance" to perform his duties or resign after the misuse of his party colleagues.
