There was also talk of relations between current President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti.
Political analyst Armand Shkullaku stated that the Vetëvendosje Movement should have left the proposal of names for the head of state to the opposition.
"And this, as a major party, could make the selection between those names. Therefore, I say that it is not a matter of numbers, but rather a matter of accountability and responsibility towards those who voted for you," he declared.
He emphasized that the issue of Vjosa Osmani's re-nomination should not have gone like this.
