In the continuation of projects for greening and creating new public spaces, another community park was inaugurated today in Prizren that will serve the residents of the "Lakuriq" neighborhood, especially children and the elderly.
The Mayor of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj, said that the development of a green and healthy city has been among the main priorities of local government.
"A green Prizren and the addition of new parks in the city's neighborhoods has been our priority since the beginning of the mandate. Today we are happy to inaugurate another community space after Ortakoli, which will serve the residents, especially children and the elderly," said Totaj.
He emphasized that projects for parks and recreational spaces will continue even more intensively during the next mandate.
"We will continue investments in new parks with increased intensity in the new mandate, because the citizens of Prizren deserve a cleaner, greener and more beautiful environment to live in," added Totaj.
This new space is expected to serve as a suitable place for recreation, socialization, and development of community life, giving the city added environmental and aesthetic value.
