A2CNN has secured the video where the car of drunk driver Nikoll Radaçi is shown driving at breakneck speed, at the moment of the tragic accident that took the lives of two minor children in the Spitalla area of Durrës.
From the footage, it appears that the speed of the white "Benz ML" vehicle ranges from 85 km/h to 100 km/h. The speed is clearly above the speed limit, especially in a residential area, where the speed limit should not exceed 30-40 kilometers per hour.
While the court today remanded him in "prison arrest," the 57-year-old appeared at the hearing with his head bowed, and refused to provide any explanation or justification.
None of the family members of the perpetrator of this tragedy were present at the closed-door hearing, while the lawyer was mainly appointed by the state. The trial and final sentence are a matter of time for 57-year-old Nikolla Radaçi.
