A story that looks like a movie, but is real, has shocked social media: a sexy, patriotic, and ultra-conservative American "influencer" turns out not to exist at all.

Behind the viral profile "Emily Hart", which gathered thousands of followers and millions of views, was actually a 22-year-old student from India, who used Artificial Intelligence to create an attractive identity and generate income online.

According to WIRED, the young man carefully built the character: a "patriotic" nurse, with a look similar to Jennifer Lawrence, who posted provocative photos and strong political messages in favor of Make America Great Again.

But this wasn't just an experiment, it was a business model. Within a few weeks, the profile grew rapidly: thousands of new followers every day, videos with millions of views, and revenue from subscriptions and exclusive content.

The creator used platforms like Fanvue to sell AI-generated content, earning thousands of dollars a month. “I was making money doing almost nothing,” he tells WIRED.

The scandal deepened after he admitted that he considered his followers "super stupid," claiming that conservative audiences were easier to manipulate.

The social network eventually shut down the account for fraudulent activity, but not before the profile sparked a wide-ranging debate about the dangers of artificial intelligence. Experts warn that similar cases are likely to increase as technology makes it increasingly difficult to distinguish between real and manipulated content.

One thing remains clear: in the age of AI, not every "influencer" is who they seem — and some may not exist at all. /GazetaExpress/
