The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Besnik Tahiri, has reacted sharply after the controversy between the Speaker of the Assembly, Albulena Haxhiu, and the leader of the AAK, Ramush Haradinaj, during the extraordinary session on the issue of electricity.
Tahiri stated that Haxhiu is not the right person to lecture on parliamentary ethics, accusing her of continuous violations of the rules during her time as an MP.
"The Speaker of the Assembly is the last person who can talk to anyone about parliamentary language and actions. She has violated every act that an MP should violate, starting with the gas and the biggest insults that have happened to any Speaker of the Assembly, in this case Speaker Kadri Veseli," said Tahiri.
He called on the Speaker of Parliament to avoid provocations, warning of future escalation of the situation.
"We must be very careful not to provoke the situation, because next time we will stay on the podium and not leave. We must be careful to preserve the parliamentary spirit," he emphasized.
The debate comes after during today's session, Haxhiu and Haradinaj were involved in a verbal clash, where the Speaker of the Assembly several times asked the AAK leader to be careful with the language he uses during his speech.
