Barcelona star Raphinha has spoken openly about his relationship with young talent Lamine Yamal, revealing that he does not hesitate to advise him, but also to reprimand him when necessary.
The Brazilian striker, who has become an important figure in the Barca dressing room, described the 18-year-old as a younger brother.
A connection beyond the field
The partnership between Raphinha and Yamali has been one of the highlights of Barcelona's season. Their shared celebrations after goals have often gone viral, but Raphinha insists that their relationship is not just about football.

"He's 11 years younger than me. As for our joint celebration, we saw it online and decided to do it. It turned out well," Raphinha told TNT Sports.
"There's no big symbolic meaning, other than the sense of brotherhood. I really see him as a much younger brother. In fact, he's even younger than my little brother. So I see him that way and try to advise him as best I can."
Advice and discipline for young talent
Raphinha praised Yamali's extraordinary talent, but stressed that even the most talented players need guidance and discipline. According to him, the more experienced players at Barcelona intervene whenever the youngster needs to come back down to earth.
"I try to convey my life experience. When it comes to individual qualities and talent, I have nothing to teach them. They are not learned overnight. They are natural gifts. But I always try to give them something from my experience," said the Brazilian.
"He's a very good guy. He always listens, he often asks for advice, and if he does something stupid, we tell him openly and he listens to us. We have a very good relationship, despite the 11-year age difference between us."

The dream of a Brazil-Spain final
Speaking about the international arena, Raphinha admitted that he and Yamal have already discussed the possibility of facing each other on the biggest stage in world football. A possible final between Brazil and Spain at the World Cup would be a special scenario for both of them.
"Neymar and Lamine Yamal have agreed on a Brazil-Spain final in the World Cup. I would also welcome such a match in the final. It would be fantastic to have Brazil against Spain," said the 29-year-old.
"I don't care who plays for the opponent, even Lamine. We also have a lot of quality players in our team. It would be incredible, a really exciting match." /GazetaExpress/
