The Prishtina football club has been punished by the Disciplinary Committee of the Kosovo Football Federation after incidents that occurred in the championship match against Drita.
According to the match delegate's report and television footage, after the end of the match, the home fans of "Plisat" crossed the stadium fences and entered the playing field, rushing towards the visiting fans who were located in the northern stands, with a tendency for a fight between the two groups of fans.
The intervention of the Kosovo Police brought the situation under control and prevented a larger incident.
Due to shortcomings in the organization of the match, based on the official report and Article 18 paragraph 1 and Article 36 paragraph 1 point A of the Disciplinary Regulations, FC Prishtina has been punished with the holding of two home championship matches without the presence of spectators.
In addition to this measure, the capital club has also been punished financially. Based on Article 6 paragraph 1 point C and Article 18 paragraph 2 points B and C of the Disciplinary Regulation, Prishtina has been fined 2000 euros.
According to the decision, the club has 15 days to pay the fine, from the moment the decision becomes final.
