The Regional Police Directorate in Prizren has issued a notice to citizens regarding a worrying phenomenon that is emerging in the area of responsibility, which poses a direct risk to the financial security of citizens.
Specifically, various citizens have received fake telephone messages, informing them that their bank accounts will be blocked if they do not take immediate action.
According to the police, these messages include a suspicious link, which asks citizens to enter their personal and banking details.
After entering this data, unauthorized persons gain access to the victims' bank accounts and illegally obtain financial resources, specifically their bank accounts are emptied.
