The plane carrying Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez was forced to make an emergency landing in Ankara due to a technical problem during the flight to Yerevan.
According to Spanish media, the incident occurred during the trip where Sánchez was to attend the European Political Community Summit. The plane was diverted and landed in the Turkish capital for security reasons.
The Spanish delegation is expected to stay overnight in Ankara and continue their journey to Armenia the next day, once the plane's technical problem is resolved.
Authorities are not reporting any danger to passengers, and the situation is being treated as a routine technical defect. /Panorama
