Representatives of the civic platform "Freedom Has a Name", Eliza Hoxha and Ismail Tasholli, have today made an official visit to North Macedonia, as part of meetings with prominent activists of the national issue and Albanian political representatives in the region.

The first visit took place with Ali Ahmeti, Chairman of the Democratic Union for Integration, who was informed by the platform's representatives about the mission of "Freedom has a Name", the activities to date and the broad civic mobilization for the great March "Justice, not politics", which will be held on February 17 in Pristina, in defense of the liberators of Kosovo who are being unjustly held in The Hague.

During the meeting, Ali Ahmeti emphasized the historical and national importance of this cause, underlining that justice for the liberators is part of the collective dignity of Albanians.

"The liberation war of our people was just, necessary and historically pure. Those who led and defended this war cannot be held hostage to political injustices. Their place is at home, close to their families and people, and they must return as soon as possible," said Ahmeti.

The platform's representative, Eliza Hoxha, emphasized that mobilization is growing every day and that the February 17 march will be an expression of a powerful civic voice.

"This march is not against anyone, but in defense of justice. We are building a large civic mobilization, inside and outside Kosovo, because this is a cause that transcends parties and borders," said Hoxha.

Meanwhile, Ismail Tasholli pointed out the nationwide dimension of this call.

"Justice for the liberators is a national issue. The support from Albanian activists and leaders in the region strengthens the message that this cause is common and that the citizen voice must be heard clearly in this final phase of the process in The Hague," said Tasholli.

The "Freedom Has a Name" platform will continue visits and meetings with political, social and Albanian community representatives in the region and diaspora, calling for broad civic and nationwide mobilization for mass participation in the "Justice, Not Politics" March on February 17 in Pristina.
