According to official data, 57-year-old Nikoll Radaçi, while driving while intoxicated, ran off the road, hitting three children aged 8, 9 and 12. As a result of the accident, the two minors lost their lives, while an 8-year-old who was with them was seriously injured and is in the Trauma Hospital under the care of doctors.
Radaç fled the scene, but was located and escorted by police patrols. The alcohol test came back positive, confirming that he was intoxicated at the time of the accident.
