Parliamentary elections, seven complaints are being reviewed

The Electoral Complaints and Appeals Panel has received seven complaints regarding the publication of the final results by the Central Election Commission.

For all complaints received, ECAP will decide within the legal deadline of ninety-six hours from the date of submission of each complaint.

ECAP announces that, following the publication of the final results by the Central Election Commission (CEC) for the elections held on 28 December 2025, it has received a total of 7 (seven) complaints, of which 5 (five) complaints from political entities and 2 (two) complaints from a candidate for deputy of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo, for the next legislature.

The complaints received are:

One (1) complaint from the UNITED ROMA PARTY OF KOSOVO – PREBK,

Two (2) complaints from PDK – candidate Bekim Haxhiu,

One (1) complaint from the PAI–PDAK–LPB Coalition,

Two (2) complaints from NOVA DEMOKRATSKA STRANKA – NDS,

One (1) complaint from SRPSKA LISTA,

"The ECAP will decide on all complaints within the legal deadline of 96 (ninety-six) hours, in accordance with Law No. 08/L-228 on General Elections in the Republic of Kosovo," states the ECAP's response to RTK.

On Saturday, the Central Election Commission made a decision to announce the final results of the snap elections, which were held on December 28.

The results were announced for 23 out of 24 political entities and their candidates. The announcement of the final results for the political entity Serbian List and its candidates did not receive enough votes from members.
