This institution has 96 hours to review them, five complaints from political entities and two others from a candidate for deputy.

The Electoral Panel for Complaints and Appeals will have 96 hours available to review 7 complaints, which have been addressed to this institution, regarding the final results of the December early elections.

In a written response, it is highlighted that five complaints are from political entities and two others from a candidate for deputy of the Assembly, for the next legislature.

Democratic Party candidate for MP, Bekim Haxhiu, has filed two complaints. One of them concerns the distribution of seats in the Assembly, while the other is related to alleged irregularities during the counting of postal votes.

Meanwhile, 5 other complaints come from minority political entities. Two complaints were filed by the New Democratic League, which are related to allegations of irregularities with votes, specifically with ballots.

A complaint about voting irregularities has also been filed by the PAI Coalition, PDAK, LPB, and the United Roma Party of Kosovo.

The Serbian List has filed an appeal against the Central Election Commission's decision not to approve its list of candidates. At the weekend meeting, when the CEC announced the election results, members of Vetëvendosje voted against and those of the Democratic Party abstained.

"Political war, political battle is legitimate, but should it be done in processes that are also emergency, is an issue that should be addressed precisely to these political entities, in this case those who voted against and those who abstained. So, it should neither be dramatized nor minimized, but it is simply a political battle that political entities engage in at certain moments, for their political purposes," said Mazllum Baraliu, an expert on legal issues.

Vetëvendosje spoke about voting against, while PDK members who abstained did not declare themselves.

The OSCE Mission in the country, in its reaction, also underlined that it is closely monitoring developments, after the Central Election Commission announced the final results of the election on Saturday.
