The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, had a working dinner with the European Union Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Peter Sorensen.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister's Office, the meeting discussed the European integration process, with particular emphasis on the full alignment of Kosovo's foreign policy with that of the EU, as a strategic determination, as well as the commitment of institutions to the implementation of reforms. The statement did not mention the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, while the meeting also included former chief negotiator Besnik Bislimi.
"The Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, accompanied by associates, hosted the European Union Special Representative for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, Peter Sørensen, for a working dinner last night. The dinner discussed the process of integration into the European Union, including the full alignment of foreign policy with the 27-member bloc as a strategic determination, as well as Kosovo's commitment and dedication to fulfilling reforms. In the context of European integration, the process of membership in the Council of Europe was also discussed," the announcement says.
The government said that Kurti and Sorensen "also discussed current political events and domestic developments."
