Tomorrow, starting at 11:00, the next meeting will take place in the premises of the Kosovo Parliament between Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the leader of the LDK, Lumir Abdixhiku, on the issue of electing the country's President.

This is the second meeting within a short period between the VV leader and Abdixhiku, while PDK is awaiting an official letter for a meeting.

This was confirmed to Klankosova.tv by PDK secretary Vlora Çitaku.

She said that the party has not received an official invitation from the Prime Minister for a meeting.

"We have requested that he send an official letter and not invite us through WhatsApp channels. In addition to names, we have requested that we first and foremost meet on principles," the MP stated.

After the Presidency meeting which took place this week, Çitaku emphasized that the election of the country's president is a very important moment for parliamentary democracy.

"The Kosovo Parliament has 120 deputies, while the PDK has only 22 deputies. If the parliamentary majority is interested in electing the president, there is not only the option of talking with the PDK, but there are also other possibilities," said the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly.

On the other hand, Kosovo has entered the final ten days for the election of the president, while April 28 is the deadline set by the Constitutional Court.
