Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) MP Doarsa Kica-Xhelili said that the Supreme Court has confirmed that Albin Kurti and the ministers have violated the law.
This is because they have held executive positions and at the same time been members of the Kosovo Assembly, says Kica-Xheili.
"The Supreme Court of Kosovo has just clearly confirmed with decision PAnr.09/2025, dated 25.06.2025: Albin Kurti and his ministers have violated the law! It has been 4 months now that we have publicly reacted that no one who has been certified as an MP has the right to still behave as a minister or prime minister and make new executive decisions. Now this is a fact confirmed by the highest regular court in the country, which has handled the case of former minister Murati, which is not an isolated case of this illegal behavior, and applies to the entire former Kurti cabinet."
"After March 27, 2025, every decision, every signature and every new action taken by the Kurti government is illegal. This is proof that they have treated the state as private property. We have filed 17 criminal reports precisely for these violations. Now the Special Prosecution Office has no reason to wait or procrastinate: it has in its hands the most current judicial precedent for Kurti's entire former cabinet, together with him, to be investigated and prosecuted for abuse of office and exceeding of powers after March 27, 2025," she said. /Gazeta Express
