Kosovo institutional leaders met on Monday to discuss Kosovo-Serbia dialogue. The meeting invited by Speaker of Parliament Kadri Veseli was attended by President Hashim Thaci, Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj and his deputy Fatmir Limaj.
Kosovo institutional leaders discussed a joint platform on dialogue with Serbia, which is expected to be submitted to Parliament on Tuesday, Gazeta Express reports. The Government of Kosovo on 21 November last year has imposed a 100 percent tariff on all goods from Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina to counter Serbia’s aggressive campaign against Kosovo’s statehood. Following this move Serbian president Aleksandar Vucic has decided to cancel EU-facilitated dialogue with Kosovo until Pristina revokes the decision on tax. The US and EU urged Kosovo authorities to suspend the tax and resume the dialogue with Serbia. /GazetaExpress/
