Kosovo President Hashim Thaci has ordered that all state buildings flags be flown at half-staff on Wednesday in observance of the National Day of Mourning following the death of former U.S. President George H.W. Bush, Gazeta Express reports.
“The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci has designated a national day of mourning on Wednesday, December 5, honoring former U.S. President George H.W. Bush for his contribution on Kosovo’s freedom,” the President’s press service announced.
On the day of mourning the Kosovo state flag will be flown at half-staff in all state buildings of the Republic of Kosovo within and outside the country. Wednesday is observed as day of mourning also in the United States of America. /Express/
