Pacolli said that Kosovo Government’s priority is increase of number of recognitions of Kosovo and its membership into international organisations. “We are working on extending recognitions in all parts of the world, in all continents. We are working continuously with all of our potentials. I believe the results are visible. We have had two recognitions this year and I believe by the end of this month we will have another recognition,” Pacolli told RFE. He also said that as a result of continuous and intensive work, the state of Madagascar has recognised Kosovo’s independence in November 2017, whereas Guinea-Bissau has reconfirmed its recognition of Kosovo. Recently Kosovo was also recognised by Barbados.
Kosovo Foreign Minister announces new recognitions
Kosovo First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Behgjet Pacolli, in an interview with Radio Free Europe said new recognitions of Kosovo are expected and the recognition of country’s independence is irreversible process.
