Kosovo Foreign Minister Behgjet Pacolli is attending an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the Western Balkans 6 (WB6).
The meeting is held in Sarajevo, and hosted by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina Igor Crnadak. Kosovo Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that visa liberalisaiton for Kosovo, free economic area between the north of Kosovo and South of Serbia, removal of Serbian blockade for interconnection power-line with Albania, were some of the requests and proposals of minister Pacolli during this meeting. He also told Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic who is attending the gathering that “Kosovo’s statehood is done job,” it is stated in a press release issued by the ministry of Foreign Affairs. Answering to Serbian FM Ivica Dacic who disputed Kosovo’s participation in the Western Balkans Summit expected to be held in Sofia, Pacolli said: “Kosovo’s statehood is a done deal. We will be present in Sofia as other countries of the Balkan region and the European Union.”
The meeting was attended also by the European Commission's Director-General for Neighbourhood Policy and Enlargement Negotiations Christian Danielsson, Secretary-General of the Regional Cooperation Council Goran Svilanovic, Coordinator for the organization of the Summit on the Western Balkans in London, Ambassador Andrew Paige and Executive Director of the Western Balkans Fund Gjergj Murra.
