Sylejman Selimi, former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) commander has been questioned Wednesday by international special prosecutors, for his role during Kosovo war.
Selimi’s lawyer, Tome Gashi, confirming the news in Facebook said his client has been questioned by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office prosecutors in Pristina. “General Commander of the KLA, general Sylejman Selimi summoned by the Specialist Chambers has been questioned today in Pristina,” Gashi wrote in his Facebook.
Selimi in an interview with T7 last week confirmed that he will be questioned by international prosecutors soon. Several former KLA commanders have been questioned by the Specialist Prosecutor’s Office in January, including ex KLA-commanders Sami Lushtaku of the Drenica region, and Rrustem Mustafa of the Llapi region. /GazetaExpress/
