Murat Jashari has denied the statement of acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who said that the media had "ambushed" Jashari during his statements on the president's issue.
Through a response sent to the moderator of "Debat Plus" on RTV Dukagjini, Ermal Panduri, Jashari said that he does not consider the treatment he received from the media as "hostage".
"Hello Ermal. No, I stand by what I have stated. Greetings and success to you! Sincerely! Murati," Jashari wrote.
Previously, Panduri had sent questions to Murat Jashari regarding Kurti's claim.
"Have you considered Mr. Jashari, what you said to the media about the president's issue, with respect, Ermal Panduri," was Panduri's message.
Jashari's statement comes after Kurti, during an interview on KTV, stated that the media had acted unfairly towards him.
"Very bad and many times worse, worse, than what Glauk Konjufca did to Murat Jashari, the media treated him. Those words were said and here we are," Kurti said.
After this statement, Panduri also reacted, criticizing Kurti's approach towards the media and the Jashari family.
"Whoever is going to teach the Jashari family is expected to be the media, when they have learned, others will know what they have suffered and how much the Jashari family has sacrificed," he declared.
