The Kosovo Energy Corporation has announced that the Mirash-Bardhdhe road axis and vice versa will be closed to traffic for a period of several days, starting on Monday.
According to the announcement on Facebook, the road closure comes as a result of the beginning of the asphalting phase of this axis, following the completion of basic gravel works in the approximately 6.3 kilometer segment.
During this period, traffic will be prohibited in both directions, both for KEK vehicles, as well as for citizen vehicles and worker transport buses.
"KEK will promptly notify the public and citizens as soon as conditions are created for safe circulation and full restoration of traffic on this road axis. During this period, KEK encourages all traffic participants to use alternative routes, in order to avoid delays and facilitate the development of works."
"The Mirash - Bardh road axis represents an investment of great strategic importance, being a vital road for the functioning and operations of the Kosovo Energy Corporation, but at the same time also a considerable relief for the community and citizens of the surrounding area. Through this project, KEK is continuing its commitment to improving infrastructure, increasing traffic safety and creating better conditions for both the corporation's operations and citizens," the KEK announcement states, among other things.
