Most of the main parties in Kosovo have seen a decline in the number of votes compared to the December 2025 elections, according to preliminary results for 2026.
The most pronounced decline was recorded by the Vetëvendosje Movement, which received 297.286 votes, or 136.108 fewer than in the previous elections when it secured 433.394 votes.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo has also suffered a decline, losing 38.445 votes compared to the 2025 result.
On the other hand, the Democratic League of Kosovo has marked a slight increase of 2.755 votes.
Meanwhile, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has remained almost at the same level, with only five votes less than in the previous elections, while the Serbian List has registered a modest increase of 526 votes.
These statistics are based on the CEC counting over 99 percent of votes. This does not include diaspora and conditional votes.
Data shows that the lower voter turnout in the 2026 electoral process has directly impacted the outcome of most political entities./Telegraph
