A serious incident was discovered this Friday in the Loni Dhamo neighborhood of the city of Lushnja, where an elderly man was found dead in his apartment.
The victim has been identified as Ali Korreshi, around 70 years old, who lived alone. It is learned that his wife and daughter are abroad, while he lived alone in his apartment.
The alarm was raised by the residents of the building, who notified the police after a strong smell began to be felt from the elderly man's apartment. They had also not seen him go outside for several days and suspected the worst.
Police services immediately arrived at the scene and are awaiting forensic expertise to determine the exact causes of death.
