The Macedonian opposition party SDSM, in a press release, says that "a few days ago, in the Macedonian Parliament, when asked by the leader of SDSM, Filipce, about his connection with Dušan Adamović, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski said that behind his appointment as consul in Serbia, the ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia stands."
SDSM says Mickoski lied.
"By law, the decision to appoint an honorary consul is made by the Government, in session. Mickoski stands behind Adamović's appointment. A joint photo of Hristijan Mickoski, Dušan Adamović and the leader of the SNS, VMRO's sister party, Miloš Vučević in Ohrid shows that there is also a different connection and closer relations between them."
"Adamović is his friend and business partner! A man with a criminal past. A senior official of the SNS, the sister party of VMRO, who was involved in the drug scandal with 5 tons of drugs seized based on information from the DEA in neighboring Serbia."
"Everything is a lie. Citizens are already seeing that Mickoski's words mean nothing. They are rightly asking: What exactly is Mickoski hiding from the public? Why did Mickoski appoint Dušan Adamović as honorary consul? What are their business relationships? Do they have anything to do with electricity? SDSM will continue to raise these questions until the public learns the whole truth," say SDSM.
