SDSM says it is paradoxical that ZNAM is attacking this party, since its leader, Maksim Dimitrievski, has publicly admitted that he does not live off his salary alone. According to SDSM, they have only told the truth and cannot be blamed for this admission.
"No one in the VMRO-DPMNE-ZNAM tender coalition lives on their own salary, but at the expense of citizens. This is already known to the public," the SDSM response states.
According to the opposition party, the policies of this coalition, which transform the state into a private business, have caused a deficit of around two billion euros.
SDSM recalls that during the Covid-19 crisis, the state was forced to take on debt to help citizens, emphasizing that this party has acted and continues to act in their interest. They accuse the VMRO-DPMNE–ZNAM coalition of luxury and misuse of public funds, citing as an example the 1.2 million euro tender for the Post Office, awarded to a company close to ZNAM, while employees have had their salaries delayed for months.
