The Macedonian opposition party SDSM says that "citizens are paying dearly for Mickoski's tales that Macedonia's economy is the third largest in Europe."
SDSM emphasizes that "when citizens enter a store, when they go to the market, when they pay their bills, when they look at their empty wallets and empty refrigerators, they know best how realistic Mickoski's tale of the third economy in Europe is."
"With Mickoski, the standard of living of citizens is deteriorating day by day, citizens have less and less money and live worse and worse. The latest data from the State Statistical Office show that vegetables are more expensive by over 38%, fruits by over 10% and agricultural sales prices by 23%. Meat, eggs, olive oil are more expensive… everything is in the news. And salaries do not move, nailed to the bottom, RMV workers have the lowest salaries in Europe."
"The economy is in a downward trend. Investments have fallen by over 60%. Companies are laying off workers, there are over 1,500 workers laid off in just a few months. 180 million euros, as of last month, is the debt for VAT refunds to companies. While telling tales about the third largest economy in Europe, Mickoski has not taken measures to help citizens in crisis and to protect the standard," say from SDSM.
