Two workers have been injured after being thrown from a work vehicle. Kosovo Police have announced that the incident occurred in the village of Ceraj, Leposaviq, and has been classified as a "safety hazard at the workplace."
"It has been reported that two Kosovar men, employees of a private company, while working, were thrown from their work vehicle and suffered serious bodily injuries. The injured were taken to the regional hospital for medical treatment," the 24-hour Police report states.
It is said that a suspect has been arrested in the case and has been taken into custody by decision of the prosecutor.
The Ministry of Labor and the Inspectorate on Thursday conducted inspections in various workplaces with the aim of controlling the level of safety and health in the workplace.
The inspectors' action came after a worker lost his life at work in Shtime on Wednesday. He is the eighth person to die this year as a result of injuries sustained at work.
