Francesco Totti could return to AS Roma. The legendary former captain of the Giallorossi, who dedicated his entire career to the yellow club, is back in the spotlight after recent statements from Claudio Ranieri.
Totti retired from active football in 2017, in one of the most emotional moments not only for Roma fans, but for the entire football world. After retirement, he served as the club's technical director under the presidency of James Pallotta, but his adventure ended in 2019 due to disagreements with the then management.
Now, a sensational return is not ruled out. According to Sky Sport, Claudio Ranieri, in an interview, has spoken openly about the possibility of the former number 10 returning:
"The Friedkin family is thinking about this; he could be really useful, because Totti is part of Roma," Ranieri declared.
