The "Përparim Thaçi" Stadium in Prizren is entering the largest reconstruction phase in its history, after a contract for an investment of over 12 million euros was signed, while preparatory work has already begun.
Prime Minister Albin Kurti announced the news through a post on Facebook.
"Northern and southern stands will be added to the stadium, transforming it into one of the most modern sports arenas in Kosovo," Kurti says in his post.
Its capacity will reach around 7,800 seats, where KF Liria fans and Prizren sports fans will have a contemporary environment to support the city's team.
Kurti emphasized that at the national level, over 200 million euros are being invested in football stadiums, aiming for Kosovo to have the best sports infrastructure in the region.
The new project is expected to radically change the appearance and functionality of the stadium, turning it into a modern center of Kosovar football. /Express newspaper
