The CEC certifies the results for Mayors of 35 municipalities, announces them for Pristina, Junik and Mamusha and for members of 37 Municipal Assemblies

The Central Election Commission held its 74th meeting this year, chaired by the chairman, Kreshnik Radoniqi.

At the beginning of the meeting, the CEC decided to announce the final results of the elections for the Mayors of the Municipalities of Prishtina, Junik and Mamusha. This decision of the CEC comes after confirmation from the ECAP that the decision-making regarding the complaints process for these municipalities has been concluded.

In the next item on the agenda, the CEC took a decision to certify the final results of the elections for Mayors of 35 municipalities: Deçan, Gjakova, Gllogovc, Gjilan, Dragash, Istog, Kaçanik, Klina, Fushë Kosovë, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Lipjan, Novobërdë, Obiliq, Rahovec, Peja, Podujevo, Prizren, Skenderaj, Shtime, Shtërpcë, Suhareka, Ferizaj, Viti, Vushtrri, Zubin Potok, Zvecan, Malisheva, Hani i Elezit, Gracanica, Ranillug, Partesh, Kllokot and North Mitrovica. The final results of these municipalities were announced by the CEC on 25 October 2025.

In the next item on the agenda, the CEC decided to announce the final results of the elections for members of the 37 Municipal Assemblies, which were held on October 12, 2025. The results were announced for the following municipalities: Deçan, Gjakova, Gjilan, Dragash, Istog, Kaçanik, Klina, Fushë Kosovë, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, Leposaviq, Lipjan, Novobërdë, Obiliq, Rahovec, Peja, Prishtina, Podujevo, Prizren, Skenderaj, Shtime, Shtërpcë, Suhareka, Ferizaj, Viti, Vushtrri, Zubin Potok, Zvecan, Malisheva, Junik, Mamushë, Hani i Elezit, Graçanicë, Ranillug, Partesh, Kllokot and North Mitrovica. Certified political entities and candidates can now (Monday, November 3, 2025, 15:00 PM) file their complaints against these results within 48 hours with the Electoral Panel for Complaints and Submissions. This CEC decision does not include the results of the elections for the Municipal Assembly of Gllogoc (Drenas), as the Supreme Court has not yet concluded its decision on a complaint filed with this institution.
