The President of the Constitutional Court, Darko Kostadinovski, and the President of the Supreme Constitutional Court of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Boulos Fatimp Iskamdar, signed a Protocol on Cooperation. On the occasion of the signing, the two presidents expressed satisfaction and belief that this document establishes new perspectives for further progress in cooperation, exchange of experiences and techniques for progress and more efficient work.

As the Constitutional Court informs, the talks were held in the direction of the bilateral exchange of knowledge and practices, and the aspect of expanding cooperation at the international level was also discussed, with the aim of informing and building positions within the framework of the World Conference of Constitutional Courts.

Kostadinovski's visit to Egypt is on the occasion of President Kostadinovski's participation in the Meeting at the highest level of constitutional courts in Africa, which is also attended by the President of the Constitutional Court of Spain, Candido Conde - Pumpido, who represents the World Conference of Constitutional Courts, and Elena - Simina Tanasescu as the chairwoman of the Association of Constitutional Courts of Francophonie.

Kostadinovski, in addition to representing the Constitutional Court of the Republic of North Macedonia, is in the capacity of the chairman and representative of the Balkan Forum of Constitutional Courts. Today, he will deliver a speech on the topic "The Constitutional Judiciary in the Republic of North Macedonia, the path from strict formalism to living constitutionalism."

On the sidelines of this event, President Kostadinovski met today with the President of the Turkish Constitutional Court, Kadir Ozkaya, and the President of the Constitutional Court of Algeria, Leyla Asloi. Kostadinovski also met with Jung Jungmi, judge of the Constitutional Court of Korea, where they expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation and announced the presence of representatives of the Court in Korea at the 4th Congress of the Balkan Forum of Constitutional Courts, which will be held from 12-14 November in Ohrid.
