The brotherhood has easily escaped the decisions made by the Competition Commission of the Kosovo Basketball Federation.
A few days ago, the match between Vëllaznim and Sigal Prishtina was temporarily interrupted after a physical attack on referee Erzen Haxhani.
This incident appeared to be caused by a fan, who was later arrested by police.
But, this "fan" turns out to be the Vëllaznim official, Jeton Bakalli, who entered the court and had physical contact with referee Haxhani.
And for all this, Bakalli was fined 1000 euros and given a "one-match ban from entering the hall", while disciplinary proceedings were also opened against him.
Meanwhile, Vëllaznimi also left peacefully and "without a scratch on their feet", and was fined 1500 euros, while in the next match there will be no spectators in the "VIP area, behind the baskets" when the Gjakova team is home.
The FBK Competition Commission has also issued a clarification regarding the situation that occurred last weekend in Gjakova.
“An unauthorized person, Jeton Bakalli, entered the field from the end line, who pulled referee Erzen Haxhani from behind and grabbed him by the shirt. As a result of this action, the police immediately intervened, stopping the person who attempted to attack the referee. After consulting and agreeing with the match referees, it was decided that the game would continue, but initially the entire area where VIPs and other spectators were located would be emptied from the area from which the person had entered the field. After implementing this measure, the match continued until its conclusion.” /Express newspaper
