The Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo have published an important announcement for parents and educational institutions, stating that vaccination of children is necessary before the start of the school and preschool year.
The Ministry of Health and the National Institute of Public Health (NIPHK) call on parents to ensure that their children have received all the vaccines prescribed according to the Regular Vaccination Calendar, before the start of the new school year and their attendance at nurseries and kindergartens.
"Vaccines are safe and protect children from serious and contagious diseases. Timely vaccination helps prevent disease outbreaks in the community. Your child's health is the best protection for him or her and for society. We invite you to visit your nearest Family Medicine Center to get vaccinated before the start of the school year," the announcement says.
