Former PDK MP Enver Hoxhaj has called on his compatriots to register to vote in the June 7 elections, emphasizing the historical importance that the diaspora has had in the most important periods for Kosovo.
In a video address published on Facebook, Hoxhaj said that the diaspora has always been a strong support for Kosovo, from the fight for freedom to the state-building process.
"Registration for the June 7 elections has begun and I invite you to register. The diaspora has historically supported Kosovo in its fight for freedom and independence and our state-building," Hoxhaj declared.
He criticized the political situation in the country, saying that Kosovo is blocked by an irresponsible government and parliamentary majority.
"Kosovo has been blocked in recent years due to an irresponsible government and parliamentary majority. Kosovo needs new leadership for seriousness and trust," he said.
At the end of his address, Hoxhaj called on his compatriots to participate in the electoral process and make their voices heard through their votes.
"We need your voice to be heard. Register and vote!", concluded Hoxhaj.
