Albian Hajdari made his debut with the Kosovo national team tonight, after this month he made the choice to move from Switzerland to the "Dardans".
He was one of the best on the field against Slovenia, in the match that ended in a goalless draw.
Hajdari, only 22 years old, said that he doesn't feel like a debutant, because everyone has welcomed him well.
"I am a very emotional player and maybe I expressed this a little. I don't feel like a debutant, because everyone welcomed me very well, as if I had been here for a long time. I am very pleased with my debut, especially that we did not concede a goal - for a defender this is the best thing", said Hajdari, also praising the team's work in the defensive aspect.
He added further, saying that there is quality here too, and we can even talk about the World Cup.
"I know that comparing with Switzerland is a different level and mentality, but there is a lot of quality here too. We can also talk about the World Cup. I am very happy to be here," he said.
Hajdari finally spoke about the match against Sweden.
"There has been a lot of talk about Sweden's strikers and their millions, but we have achieved a lot with small numbers. We will give our best and I expect a good match," concluded the Kosovo defender.
Kosovo will face Sweden in three days, on October 13th.
The "Dardans" are second in the table with four points, five less than Switzerland who are in first. Slovenia has two points in third place, while Sweden is last with one point./Express newspaper/
