Democratic Party of Kosovo MP, Përpardim Gruda, has said that his party wants to have the right to propose two names as candidates for president of the country.
He added that PDK has such a request because it does not trust Albin Kurti.
In the Rubicon of Klan Kosova, Gruda explained why, according to him, PDK has such a request.
"The truth is this. Why do we want two names? We want them because we don't trust Albin Kurti. If we propose one, Vetevendosje another, Albin Kurti can tell his MPs in a secret ballot, vote for our candidate," Gruda said.
The PDK MP added that meetings and agreements regarding the name should be completed before the session and the public should be informed.
"Before the session, there should be meetings and discussions about the candidate's name. Kurti does not necessarily have to agree with the name we propose. He may reject names, or certain names may be discussed," Gruda said.
He said that there was a tendency from VV to meet, but that, according to him, they requested such a thing without sending an official invitation.
"There was a tendency to reach the meeting again, but without sending a letter or invitations. But the fact that he is resisting the letter does not make the process as serious as we want it to be," he continued.
