Google has decided to introduce some changes and improvements to make Gmail more useful.
Google is expanding Gmail cards with summaries, which are contextual snippets of AI-driven services.
From now on they will include cards for purchases, events, invoices and travel.
Additionally, a new "Happening Soon" section will appear at the top of your inbox, displaying upcoming time cards.
The company says it is making the changes because "users' email habits have continued to evolve," Telegraph reports.
The new "Happening Soon" section will send "just in time" summary cards to the top of your inbox.
For example, when you open Gmail, you might see a card indicating that an order you placed last week was delivered today.
Google says all summary cards are dynamic and updated in real time.
When appropriate, summary cards will also contain action buttons.
Google describes the functionality of action keys as "no more fumbling around looking for messy links."
Shopping summary cards will allow you to track packages, view order details and track orders online.
Cards will allow you to see your upcoming events, invite friends or get directions to the venue.
Bill Summary will allow you to view or pay them (or set reminders to pay them in Google Tasks).
Finally, travel summary cards will allow you to manage reservations, check-in for flights, and view details such as hotel check-in and check-out times.
