Google has improved Gmail with new Artificial Intelligence (AI) features and shortcuts.
Google has extended the "Help me write" campaign to Gmail for the web, allowing users to create or edit emails with the help of Gemini AI.
Just like it does on mobile devices, users will be presented with the option to use the feature when they open a blank email compose box in Gmail.
Google's Help Me Write feature is only available to users with a Google One AI Premium subscription or using the Gemini Add-on for Workspace.
In addition to creating an email, Help Me Write can also offer suggestions on how to shape, expand, or shorten your message.
Google will gradually give users access to the Help Me Write feature on the web, along with a new shortcut for mobile devices.
A new shortcut called "Improve my draft" is available for mobile devices as a replacement for "Help me write". And instead of options to format, expand or shorten the message, it will automatically process the message when the "polish" shortcut is pressed.
