Offensive midfielder Blerton Isufi has decided to represent Albania at the national level, leaving behind the opportunity to play for Kosovo.
The 20-year-old has been included for the first time in coach Alban Bushi's list for the U-21 National Team, marking an important step in his international career.
Isufi is part of the Norwegian club Molde, which transferred him last summer for a fee of around 600 thousand euros.
Born in Norway to parents of Kosovar origin, the midfielder has not previously made appearances with Kosovo's youth teams, and is now expected to wear the red and black jersey for the first time in the matches in June.
