Besa Gaxherri, from LDK, spoke about recent developments within this party and the possibility of Vjosa Osmani's return to LDK, after the meeting held today by the leadership and branch chairmen.
On Tevë1, she announced that the party has already entered the electoral process, while also mentioning discussions about merging with Osmani.
"Today there was a meeting of the leadership and branch heads. We have now entered the electoral process and are making our preparations. A merger or a return of Vjosa Osmani to LDK has been announced. This issue is not entirely easy, because each action has its own history. We all make mistakes and we need to reflect. I am very glad that Vjosa has decided to think about this issue. From the meetings I have with the electorate, they are expecting this merger and are saying that it should return," Gaxherri declared.
She emphasized that, in her opinion, Osmani should return to LDK and contribute to creating a new spirit of cooperation within the party.
"I think that if she wants to enter the race, Vjosa should return to her home. She should create a positive synergy with Lumir Abdixhiku and with all of us. We should first believe in ourselves for victory and then go before the citizens, because they are supporting us and they want this union. This should be done for Kosovo," she said.
Her statements come at a time when discussions are taking place within the LDK about a possible political collaboration with Vjosa Osmani in the upcoming elections.
