The Commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Bashkim Jashari, received in a meeting the Deputy Chief of J5/8 of the United States European Command (USEUCOM J5/8), Brigadier General Chris A. McKinney.
Initially, the two generals discussed the current cooperation between the Kosovo Security Force and the United States European Command, as well as the need to increase this cooperation in the future.
General Jashari informed General McKinney about the developments and achievements of the KSF, focusing also on future plans aimed at realizing aspirations for NATO membership.
Also, both generals appreciated the contribution of the KSF within the International Stabilization Force for Gaza (ISF), where the first contingent from the KSF is expected to be deployed soon.
At the end of the meeting, General McKinney thanked General Jashari for his cooperation and leadership during this time where the KSF is in the final phase of the JTP, and reiterated USEUCOM's commitment to supporting the KSF in the future.
