Containers with thousands of Skydagger kamikaze combat drones arrived today at Pristina International Airport "Adem Jashari". Dozens of KSF soldiers have already been trained in their use.
The contract was signed in December last year with the well-known Turkish company Baykar, which is the parent company of the manufacturer Skydagger. The Skydagger drones were scheduled to arrive in January 2026, but we received them three months early.
These suicide drones, also known as RTF (Ready to Fly) Skydagger FpVs procured by us, are combat drones equipped with explosive devices for the purpose of hitting moving and static enemy targets.
With the purchase of this contingent of unmanned aerial vehicles, in addition to the TB2 Bayraktar and Puma aircraft, we are continuing to increase and enhance the striking power of our army with the aim of building a capable and coherent force with new technological developments and contemporary warfare tactics.
The drones were loaded onto the Rheinmetall 8×8 multifunctional trucks that we had received last year, 15 in total, 10 purchased by us and 5 donated.
