The Energy Regulatory Commission has decided to reduce fuel prices by an average of 2,73 percent. According to this decision, gasoline and diesel will be sold at lower prices from midnight.
According to the Commission's announcement:
Euro Super BS-95 decreases by 1,5 denars
Euro Super BS-98 decreases by 1,5 denars
Eurodiesel price drops by 2,5 denars
Extra light cooking oil drops by 3,5 denars
Fuel oil decreases by 2 denars per kilogram
These are the maximum allowed prices, while companies can decide to sell at lower prices. The discount from OKTA is expected to last until the end of this month, enabling companies supplied by it to offer gasoline up to two denars cheaper and diesel up to three denars cheaper than the maximum price.
Meanwhile, regarding food prices, which are directly affected by movements in fuel prices, Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski stated that the relevant report is expected to be received during the day, which will be carefully analyzed before concrete measures are taken.
"I expect to receive the report and analyze it in the coming days, and after carefully reviewing it, we will come up with certain measures, which we intend to be targeted," said Mickoski.
He also announced that he will not chair today's Government meeting due to other commitments.
