Rexhep Qosja was the voice of the awakened national conscience: with him comes the end of the era of great idealists, who spoke for the nation with a voice that resonates far and transcends the limitations of time.
He holds a place of honor in the history of Albanian thought, alongside the Renaissance men; he holds a place of honor in Albanian literature, especially in the field of literary history, where his work is already a classic and an unsurpassed reference.
I disagreed with Rexhep Qosje on many things, but I have always valued his opinion, because even when he was wrong, he could not be anything other than a disappointed patriot. I have always considered that he spoke great truths about the nation, about identity, about literature and our history.
Everyone at the Kosovo Academy of Sciences and Arts has a job to clear their conscience, why they closed the door of this institution to Rexhep Qosja. Those who slandered, violated and tried to tarnish his name must also find courage and clear their conscience.
Eternal be the memory of Rexhep Qosje!
